Hi, I'm Krutika!
Home baker, Swaminarayan devotee, mum — sharing eggless recipes that celebrate the flavours and traditions I grew up with.

Why I bake eggless
As a BAPS Swaminarayan follower, a pure vegetarian lifestyle is at the heart of how I live and how I cook. Baking eggless isn't a limitation for me — it's a joyful challenge to prove that classic bakes can be just as soft, moist and celebration-worthy. Every recipe on this site is tested until I'd be proud to serve it at home.
Growing up with Indian flavours
I grew up with cardamom in the milk, saffron in festival sweets, and rose water in almost everything special. The scents of my mum's kitchen are still my measuring stick for what "good" tastes like. When I bake, I try to bring those same warm, familiar flavours into cakes, cupcakes and cheesecakes so they feel like home, not just dessert.
Becoming a mum
Motherhood changed the way I saw baking. Suddenly the kitchen wasn't just a place to make something delicious — it was where I could pass on stories, spices, festivals and faith. Watching little hands measure flour and sprinkle pistachios reminded me how much heritage lives inside the everyday things we do together.
Why Bake with Krutika exists
I created Bake with Krutika for families like mine — especially those raising children outside India — who want easy, reliable eggless recipes and a way to weave their heritage into everyday life. Every bake here comes with a story, and many now come with a Little Hands, Big Heritage section so kids can join in.
My hope is that every recipe creates not just something delicious, but a memory that lasts for generations.
