Inspired by a Sweet That Holds a Special Place in My Heart. As a lifelong BAPS Swaminarayan devotee, motichoor ladoo is more than just a traditional Indian sweet to me. It reminds me of the love and warmth with which Mahant Swami Maharaj has often blessed devotees by giving motichoor ladoos as prasād. This recipe is inspired by those cherished memories and combines that beloved flavour with a light, fluffy eggless cupcake—bringing together tradition and modern baking. Soft, fragrant saffron-cardamom cupcakes with a whole mini motichoor ladoo baked inside as a sweet surprise, finished with a silky saffron-cardamom buttercream and rose petals.
